My father died when I was 9 from cancer; so obviously, I don't have many direct memories of him telling me things but what I do have are the stories and analogies he frequently told me (for those who have read the book by Randy Pausch) his "last lectures". These words of wisdom mean more to me than his actual possessions and I would love to pass them on.
Proverbs 4:6-7, "Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you; love her, and she will watch over you. Wisdom is supreme; therefore get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding."-God-
